I placed a large pick-up order of samosas and vada for an event. The food was ready when I came in, absolutely delicious, and the staff were very gracious and helpful. Highly recommend this restaurant!! Will most definitely use them again!
We catered through Sai Saravanan Bhavan for an event, and had requested a South Indian menu that had ~15 items. They were punctual with the delivery, and the food was absolutely delicious. Fresh, fragrant and ample quantity. They show high integrity and pride in their service - one of the trays came through in a smaller size than what was ordered, and it could have easily gone unnoticed. Unbeknown, they came back 30 minutes later with the promised tray size, leaving me puzzled on why? Later in conversation I was told the reason. Sharing to say, you get value, quality and high degree of trust with this team. Thank you for making our event very memorable.
Many great items some I def never heard of and excited to try. Unfortunately it's a to go place so did not get the dosa bc I don't it personally travels well. Could use more flavor in the channa for example.
Fast, fresh and delicious? We enjoyed the soft idlis, cheese dosa, masala dosa and bissi belle Baath! They were open on Christmas morning which was AWSOME!
Sai Saravana Bhavan is an Indian Restaurant which is INSIDE THE LOTTE in Herndon at Elden St. When you go inside Lotte, stick to the left and you'll see it sooner than later They have quite an extensive menu and everything I've had so far is awesome! I would personally recommend the Chili Paneer and Singapore Style Noodles. They're truly fantastic you don't even notice it's vegetarian because it's that good The staff is friendly, service is quick and efficient - call ahead and just go pick it up, couldn't be any easier. Especially if you're already planning on shopping at Lotte. This is a hidden gem!
This is really an amazing carryout/pickup restaurant that has a unique and tasty approach to Indian cuisine. The cuisine spans all of India and even includes Indo-Chinese. The location is within the grocery store Lotte. There's no seating area, it's literally just a counter with a kitchen in the back. Yet, out of that small, humble, and clean kitchen they prepare some of the best Indian cuisine I've had. The pictures I took really don't do the food justice. The food was hot and visually appealing; unlike the pics I took. The colors of the food were actually vibrant; the palak paneer being a brighter green. The malai kofta was in a yellow gravy not the beige that my camera captured. The naan was steaming, moist and adorned w/fresh cilantro and garlic. The Aloo (potato) had a perfect peppery crust garnished with cuts of green onion. And the mushroom mafia had mushrooms and capsicum blended into a tasty Masala gravy. Everything was prepared and packaged well. You can order online, by phone or through any of the popular food delivery services. Don't think twice, this place is great at what they do and it's shockingly economical. They have some great bulk ordering options like the Family Package and a daily/weekly tiffin bundle. I hope they always stay true to their values, truly amazing food!
One of the best South Indian food I've ever had. The reviews didn't do complete just but for the love of South Indian food, I decided to give this place a try. And bingo, the food was so delicious at such low prices. Obviously, it's inside lotte plaza so the price had to be slightly lower but absolutely no compromise on the food quality *_* S2B combo:Idli, vada, rava khichdi & sweet :10/10 Idli medium vada combo : 10/10 Masala dosa : 9/10 Their sambar and chutneys are so tasty and given in good quantity. Highly recommended place. Do try their S2B combo, their sweet dish keeps changing. I wish they start offering Filter coffee
Ordered take out from this place , really was surprised with the quantity and quality . They have a very good menu and it's a Vegeterian restaurant take out only . They do offer delivery services like Uber eats , Doordash and Grubhub . But if you are shopping in Lotte you should not miss them gem . Everything they cook is made from scratch had a small chat with the chef and he was happy to explain the menu . The price is unbeatable to any restaurant in Virginia as they advertised .
